    Essential add-ons Empty Essential add-ons

Post by Friedal Thu Feb 17, 2011 11:27 pm

This will be a list of add-ons that can be found on curse.com and installed through the curse client. It will be a mixed bag that includes add-ons needed for 5 mans and raids and quality of life add-ons.

    Add-ons i cannot live without:

    • Deadly Boss Mods
    • Deadly Boss Mods - WotLK, BC and Vanilla mods
    • OmniCC [cd timer]
    • Omen [threat meter]
    • Skada or Recount [skada has more options but either one would do]
    • Dominos or Bartender [i use dominos myself but both are good and it is just a matter of preference]
    • Chatter and Prat [love them, they make the chat window better readable and presentable]
    • Auctioneer [could not use AH without it, only down thingie is you got to scan AH once in a while]
    • Titan Panel
    • Tidy Plates [threat plates]
    • Stuf Unit Frames [raid frames]

    Quality of life add-ons:

    • Bagnon [makes all your bags into one huge bag]
    • NPC scan [warns you if a rare spwawn has appeared somewhere]
    • Altoholic [shows you the bank, professions and much more of all your alts]
    • Vend-o-matic [automatically sells the greys in your bag when you go to a vendor]
    • Atlasloot [drool and look up all loot drops from raids, dungoens and factions]
    • Reforgenator [from lvl 80 and up, gives reforge sugestions of your gear based on elitist jerks forum posts, just choose your role and what you want to reforge for: pvp/heroics/raids]
    • Overachiever [for the achievement-holics]
    • Gearscore/Playerscore
    • Spam-me-not
    • Sexymap
    • Bigbrother [for the potential raidleader]

Since i don't play a healer i wouldn't know which add-ons are great for that and there are a few add-ons that are to class specific that i don't mention them here. I also got Power Auras installed and still have to figure out how to work that one. Now i am curious which ones you guys use and which essential ones i forgot to mention.

Recount is pretty essential. :3 Other than that, all I use is Omen, DBM, Titan panel and Gearscore.
